The Rivyr is an indie folk project from Asheville, North Carolina. The writing is what carries it — plain-spoken songs about things most people have lived through: a memory that won't settle, words that didn't get said in time, the uncertainty of loving someone. Nothing is dressed up, and each song tends to end on the exact line it was built toward.
