The Rivyr is an indie folk project from Asheville, North Carolina. Nothing is dressed up, and each song tends to end on the exact line it was built toward.

The arrangement is decided song by song rather than record by record, and always in service of the same thing — getting the feeling as close to the surface as it will come.

Since November 2025 the project has released five singles and passed 22,000 streams across more than 300 playlists, reaching listeners in more than twenty countries — led by the United States and Canada, with independent folk and Americana curators finding the songs early.
